Order Processing, Status & Shipping

Our website and customer service team processes and ships your order as quickly, cost effectively and sustainably as possible!

All orders ship from Brooklyn, NY via UPS or USPS; and typically ship within 1-2 days of your purchase, not including weekend days and national holidays. Other delays may be caused by weather events that may affect these carriers.  

Currently, due to COVID-19, all shippers are advising of possible additional delays and are unable to guarantee shipping times.

USPS and UPS Ground are the options currently offered. 

Shipments to APO/FPO are via USPS only.

There is no international shipping at this time.

U.S. orders are delivered in 3 to 10 business days depending on the carrier and shipping option of your choice at time of checkout. Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii and APO/FPO addresses may take 10-14 business days.

Please make sure the shipping address is entered accurately (including spelling of names and streets, correct street address and zip code).  The order is shipped by us and delivered by the carrier based on the shipping address entered.  

However, we will contact you for correct information in the event that the address and zip code is determined as unshippable and we are informed by the carrier.  Orders that are refused or returned by the carrier will not be automatically reshiped.  

T Shirt Atelier is not responsible for package deliveries or redeliveries affected by an incorrect, invalid or old address, or zip code provided by the customer.  Additional fees may be charged from the return of a package or its reship to the correct address.

Please also make certain to ship to a secure location as we will not process refunds or re-ship orders once the tracking shows delivery confirmation by the carrier.

Orders can be cancelled if they have not been shipped. If the order has shipped, unwanted items can be returned for an exchange, store credit or refund once received if they are eligible under our return policy. 

Orders can be changed after payment and, if they have not shipped, only for the exact same item in a different size or color.

An order confirmation is automatically emailed to the email address provided for the order when an order is successfully placed.

A shipping notification with tracking number is automatically emailed to the email address provided for the order immediately following shipment of the order. 

The tracking number is for orders within the U.S. and will include the link to track the order.  This tracking will provide the location of the package from shipment through delivery.

If the tracking for the order is showing pending with the carrier for more than a day or two, or if there is no tracking information for the order, please contact us immediately and certainly within a few days.

A Sustainable Request

We understand that sometimes your purchase isn’t quite right, whether it’s the size, or general fit, etc.  One important consideration we would like you to keep in mind is to purchase as carefully as possible so together we minimize our carbon footprint during the exchange or return process.  Thank you!

In order to be eligible for an exchange or return, you must notify us within 30 days from purchase for tshirtatelier.com store credit and within 14 days of receipt of your order for a refund to the original payment method.

Soonest is our priority.  The full process of any exchange or return may take 7 to 10 days.  It also depends on how quickly you ship the item back to us.  All returned items are inspected for approval prior to processing a store credit, exchange or refund.  

Store credit is provided on an e-gift card which can be used to purchase on tshirtatelier.com.  Store credit never expires.

Refunds are processed to the original method of payment used for the specific order.

An item is eligible for exchange or return if it is sent back in original saleable condition, including:

-unworn

-unwashed

-with original tags and packaging intact

-free of stains, odors, animal hair, and damage

We recommend trying on all items in your order before washing to ensure they fit. 

All returned items are inspected for approval prior to processing a store credit, exchange or refund; and may incur other return fees if not in original saleable condition.

E-Gift Cards, as well as items that are discounted as part of a sale are final sale and not eligible for return, exchange or refund.  See our refund policy for further details.

There is no additional return or reship fee for an exchange for the exact item in a different size or color if available, or a different item of equal value; otherwise store credit on an e-gift card will be issued.  A free return label will be provided via email and the replacement will also be shipped free.

Any other type of exchange will receive store credit for the original purchase price on an e-gift card for tshirtatelier.com which can then be used to make another purchase on our website.   

Returns for a refund are processed back to the original method of payment for the order; and incur a small flat rate return fee of $5.99 which is deducted from the refund amount.

All items must be returned in original saleable conditions as listed or other return fees may be incurred.

You can certainly ship the item back on your own once the exchange or return is approved.  Let us know and we will provide all of the information you need.  We recommend that you use a method that allows you to track the package, as T Shirt Atelier is not responsible for items lost in transit

Please allow one to two weeks for your refund. All exchange and return items are inspected once the item(s) have been received and your refund is then processed back to the original method of payment for the order.

Exchange is available for items purchased directly from our website and within 30 days from when the item was originally purchased.  This does not include sale items.

Gift returns will receive tshirtalier.com store credit on an e-gift card in the amount of the original purchase, emailed to you. 

If you know your gift was purchased from our website and have the order number, you can use the link (see How to Exchange or Return) to process an exchange for tshirtatelier.com store credit on an e-gift card.  A return label will be provided at no charge.
